Retiring Traffic SP greets residents

Superintendent of Police (Traffic) N T Sivadasan would retire from service on 31 December after a tenure of 37 and a half years with the Puducherry Police. Sivadasan’s career began in 1975 when he was recruited as a sub-inspector in Puducherry Police.

An officer known for his dedication and honesty, Sivadasan believed that duty of a public servant was to serve  society and protect it from criminals to provide an environment for public to live in peace. Sivadasan said cooperation and support of  public and colleagues helped him perform his duties. He thanked the citizens of Puducherry and conveyed New Year and Pongal wishes. Sivadasan was promoted as inspector in 1991, then as SP in 2002 and Selection Grade SP in 2012.
