Several government vehicles in Puducherry continue to ply with black stickers affixed on the windows and wind screens despite a Supreme Court order. Around 120 government vehicles continue to ply with the black films, with neither the government department nor the police taking action on its removal.
P Saravanan of Puducherry Makkal Vizhipunarchi Eyyakkam has petitioned the government seeking their immediate removal. While giving the government three days time, he also threatened to move court against the inaction.
