Protest against private schools

Dalit Makkal Viduthalai Munnani (DMVK) held a protest, led by party secretary, G Mohan, at Arakkonam old bus stand on Sunday against the increment of fees by the private schools. The protestors demanded that everybody should get equal chance at education. They also called for withdrawal of certification given to the private schools. They urged the government to take over the private schools to implement equality in education. The protestors also demanded closure of private clinics run by the government doctors. Arakkonam town police was present at the spot throughout the protest.
