Staff demand better access

Employees of Education Department staged a demonstration demanding the opening of a gate at the rear  of the complex to make their entry easier. They protested the decision of the authorities not to open the gate as few residents of Anna Nagar feel that the road would become crowded. Nellithope MLA Om Sakthi Sekar spoke to the Director of Education E Vallvan, representatives of both the parties. Entry would now be allowed only for the employees for about two hours at 8.30 am, 12.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
