Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Monday expressed deep grief over the untimely death of 27-year-old Thamizhmani, son of Minister for Cooperation, Sellur K Raju.
“Let the departed soul rest in peace under the lotus feet of the almighty,” the Chief Minister said in her condolence message. The Chief Minister also spoke to the Minister over telephone and consoled him. On behalf of the Chief Minister, Revenue Minister K A Sengottaiyan and Electricity Minister Natham R Viswanathan paid last respects to the mortal remains. Many other ministers in the State Cabinet, including Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraisamy and MLAs paid floral tributes to Thamizhmani.
