Three persons of a family were killed in a fatal accident near Theivaseyalpuram in Thoothukudi district on Friday evening.
R Rajnikanth (34), the manager of a car showroom in Tirunelveli, along with his wife Dr Vinitha (33), a siddha doctor and children Rithanya (7) and Rohith Vinay (4), Rajnikanth’s father V Rajagopal (64) and his aunt Saroja (65) were returning to Tirunelveli in a car after attending a marriage in Thoothukudi when the vehicler collided head on-with a container lorry going to Thoothukudi. Rajnikanth, Rajagopal and Saroja died on the spot.
