KANCHEEPURAM: A 1200-page chargesheet was filed in the disproportionate assets case against ex-minister for labour and employment T M Anbarasan, his wife and son, in the court of special judge-cum-chief judicial magistrate, in Chengalpet on Monday. On September 28, 2011, a case was registered against the former minister for having amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, when he was holding the post of minister for labour and employment between 2006 and 2011.
During investigation, as many as 54 witnesses were examined and 68 documents collected and it was found that the former minister had acquired property in his, wife and son’s name, worth more than `1
crore.
