TIRUNELVELI: With the death of two more children late on Saturday, dengue fever has claimed a total of 19 lives in the district, according to official records. But unconfirmed reports say the toll may be more than 21. Surya (13) of Ambasamudram, and six-month-old Subhashani were the epidemic’s latest victims. In a bid to check the outbreak, the health department has employed over 1,000 temporary workers and has been conducting screening camps. No casualties were reported till late on Sunday.
