CHARMAPURI: As many as 16 workers, including three kids, were killed when a mango-laden lorry in which they were travelling overturned near Mahendramangalam in Palacode taluk on Sunday.
According to police, the lorry from Palacode was proceeding towards Krishnagiri. More than 40 agricultural workers were sitting on the mango load. As the lorry crossed Thimmarayanahalli village, it went out of control and overturned on the roadside.
