TIRUVANNAMALAI: A highly decomposed body of a foreigner was found floating in a farm well at Ayyampalayam on the outskirt of Tiruvannamalai on Monday. Tiruvannamalai Taluk Police have registered a case of mysterious death and are conducting an enquiry to establish the identity of the deceased and the cause of the death.
The body was found in the farm well of Gopal of Ayyampalayam. The body was highly decomposed and they found a tattoo of Lord Hanuman and a name ‘Viju’ on the right hand. The deceased was also wearing a ‘rudraksha’ around his neck. The police have been conducting enquiries with the ashrams here to find whether any foreigner from the ashrams had gone missing.
