Anusha cries foul over fake secretary

Fraudsters seem to be taking potential investors for a ride by proposing business ventures, posing as the daughter-in-law of former Union Minister M K Alagiri, Anusha Dayanidhi.

Though it is not clear as to how many people have been cheated in that fashion, Anusha Dayanidhi sought to put an end to the ongoing fraudulent activity, allegedly by a man, she named as Anand Sharma, and his associates, over telephone.

In a letter to media on Friday, Anusha Dayanidhi said: “I would like to clarify that I have nothing to do with these scam calls.” She said Anand Sharma had been making calls, claiming to be her personal assistant.

“He is also making another female caller speak as if she was me and propose business opportunities or demand for money,” she said in the statement typed on Nefertari Entertainment’s letterhead.

“These scam callers are damaging my reputation in the society and I would definitely be taking legal action against the callers. Please do not encourage any such calls made by these scammers,” she said, adding: “I am living a very peaceful life with my family and I wish to keep it the same way it is now.”
