A 21-year-old woman attempted to end her life by consuming pesticide after she learnt of her close friend’s suicide bid. However, the two women were rescued by their family members and admitted to hospitals, where they were undergoing treatment.

According to Latheri police, Lavanya (21) of Korapattu village married Mohan two years ago.  She gave birth to a girl baby six months ago, but the baby died after some time. Meanwhile, Mohan went abroad for a job assignment.
