In yet another case of murder over illicit affair, a man killed his wife and her paramour in a village near Hosur on Monday.

Sources said Bagavath Geetha (25), was married to Lokesh (28), of Kamanpalayam village six years ago and the couple had a daughter and two sons. Geetha meanwhile developed a relationship with Ganesh (30), a cousin of Lokesh.

Recently, when Lokesh was returning home from work he saw Ganesh exiting his house and came to know about the affair.

Despite warnings, Ganesh came to Lokesh’s house on Monday. Angry, Lokesh attacked Ganesh with an iron rod. Though Ganesh collapsed on the spot, Lokesh repeatedly hacked him with a sickle. Then Lokesh turned his ire towards Geetha. She tried to flee but Lokesh chased and hit her with the iron rod and a sickle later.
