Three bus passengers, including a 17-year-old boy were killed on the spot and five injured when the vehicle rammed into the rear of a parked lorry at Naikarpatti in the district late last night, police said.
The corporation bus was coming from Erode to this city when the mishap occurred, they said.
All the injured have been hospitalised.
