Fact finding team of BJP visits Salem

The three-member fact finding team constituted by party president Rajnath Singh to probe the killings of BJP and Hindu organisation leaders, arrived in Salem on Wednesday.

The team comprises, Prakash Javadekar, Nirmala Seetharaman and three-time MP from Karnataka, Anand Hegde.

According to district secretary R Gopinath, the team will visit Auditor V Ramesh’s house and meet BJP members in Salem as part of their fact-finding mission. After a day’s work, the team will leave to Vellore to look into the murder of Vellaippan.

The team is expected to submit their report ahead of the visit of L K Advani to Salem on August 1.
