'Rise and free country of poverty'

The students council of VIT University was installed on Thursday. At the function, national secretary of the Communist Party of India, D Raja, urged the younger generation to rise up and free the country from the clutches of poverty, unemployment, and corruption.

He said, “If youngsters resolve to live with honesty and commitment, you can shape the future of the world,” he added. Members of the council led by student president Sanchit Agarwal took an oath to help students by bridging the gap between the management and the student community.
