A Chennai-based woman homeopathy doctor committed suicide by hanging herself in a room in Karupayurani here on Tuesday.
Investigations revealed that the doctor ended her life after her parents opposed her relationship with a youth of another community .
R Vijayalakshmi (26) of Nammalvarpet at Chennai, was working as a homeopath in Anna Nagar here, police sources said.
Meanwhile, she fell in love with a youth belonging to another community. Her parents opposed it and arranged another marriage for her. Upset over this, she ended her life.
