Viduthalai Chiiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) has planned to submit memorandums to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Union Finance Ministry and Planning commission on the diversion and misuse of funds allotted for the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP). A meeting of the VCK office bearers, chaired by its secretary S Paavaanan had resolved to take up the issue with the ministers concerned.
The VCK also wanted re-instatement of all the retrenched employees of the various government departments and undertakings.Party sources said that the VCK will hold a conference on July 5 in connection with the ‘Black July’ organised to observe the beginning of the Sri Lankan Tamils fight in the island nation.
