The Omalur All Women Police Station has arrested a sexagenarian for allegedly misbehaving with school girls of the village.

Sources said that Venkatesan (65) a farmer, was living alone in a house at Swaminaickenpatti village.

Locals said that Venkatesan used to sit in the village grave yard and tease schoolgirls, who pass through the area.

On Thursday the sexagenarian farmer allegedly compelled one of the five girls to sexually favour him or face consequences.

Parents of the girl who came to know about this lodged a complaint and police after inquiries  arrested Venkatesan.
