The State government on Friday transferred 20 IAS officers, including Collectors of three districts.
L Subramanian, Sub Collector, Chidambaram will assume charge as the Collector of Madurai district. He replaces Anshul Mishra who will be taking over as the Joint Commissioner of Taxes (Enforcement), Chennai.
A Gnanasekaran, Sub Collector, Maduranthagam, will be the new Collector of Tiruvannamalai. He replaces Pingale Vijay Maruthi, who has been appointed as the Dy Commissioner (Works), Chennai Corporation. Maruthi replaces Brajendra Navnit, who will take over as the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
K Vivekanandan, Deputy Secretary to Governor, (Universities), will be the new Collector of Dharmapuri. He replaces R Lilly, who has been appointed as the JC of Commercial Taxes.
T Abraham, Director of Stationery and Printing, will be another Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Large Scale Tax Payers Unit. Abraham will be replaced by J Jeyakanthan, former Collector of Chennai district.
PWC Davidar, hitherto Secretary/MD, Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation Limited, will assume charge as the Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. He replaces M Kutralingam.
Harmander singh, Secretary/Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce will take over as the Secretary, Handlooms and Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi department. S Krishnan, Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department, has been transferred as the Secretary to Planning and Development Dept.
T Udhayachandran, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers Industrial Cooperative Tea Factories Federation Limited (INDCOSERVE), Coonoor, will be taking over as the Secretary, Finance (Expenditure) Department. He will also continue to head the INDOCOSERVE.
Swaran Singh, Secretary/Chairman and Managing Director, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Ltd (SIPCOT) will be assuming charge as the Secretary/Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
CN Maheswaran, Deputy Commissioner (Health), Corporation of Chennai, will join as State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. He replaces Mohammed Aslam, who will assume charge as the Commissioner of Minorities Welfare.
S Murgaia, Additional Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been appointed as the MD of Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation Limited (TANSI).
TG Vinay, Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Karur has been appointed as Dy Commissioner (Revenue and Finance), Chennai Corporation.
T Anand, Project Officer, DRDA, Tiruvannamalai, will take over as the Dy Commissioner (Health) of Chennai Corporation. PR Shampath, former Secretary/Commissioner for the Welfare of Differently Abled will take over as the Secretary/Commissioner of Museums.
