A married plus-two girl hailing from Karadichithoor village in Kallakurichi taluk has gone missing a week ago, sources said. Tamizhchelvi, a student of the Government Higher Primary Secondary School in the village, went to school on September 2 and never returned, the sources said.
Her mother, Periyanayagam, filed a complaint with the Kachirayapalayam police. She has also informed that the girl was wearing around 5 sovereigns of gold jewellery when she left home.Tamizhchelvi was married to Rajiv Gandhi a month ago. Her husband had left for work abroad a week ago and she was staying with her parents and studying.
