A six-year-old girl was killed and five others were injured when a tipper lorry rammed an auto before ploughing into a bus stop, at Karikoottam near here on Friday.
According to police, Krishnan, a resident of Kuppani Valasai, was taking his daughters Rackshaya (6), Pooja, a class V student, and Tharun (3) to their school when a lorry driven by Sathish rammed the auto on Madurai-Rameswaram NH. She was rushed to a hospital where she died.
