Mahesan Kasirajan, IAS, will be the new Director of Information and Public Relations and Managing Director of Arasu Cable TV Corporation. He replaces J Kumaragurubaran who will be taking over as the Joint Secretary, Industries Department.
Kasirajan has, hitherto been functioning as the Director of Sugar and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Sugar Corporation Limited
He will also function as the ex-officio Additional Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department. CV Sankar, Industries Secretary, will hold full additional charge as the Director of Sugar and Managing director of Tamil Nadu Sugar Corporation.
Meanwhile, the State government transferred a few more IAS officers. Anil Meshram, Director, Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business, will take over as the Director of Treasuries and Accounts.
V Chandrasekharan will be assuming charge as the Special Secretary, Agriculture Department. He will function under the overall control of the Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture Department.
C N Maheswaran, managing director, Tamil Nadu TextBook and Education Services Corporation Ltd and ex-officio Deputy Secretary, School Education Department, will take over as the director, State Rural Health Mission.
S Malarvizhi, Director of Social Security Schemes and and ex-officio Joint Commissioner of Revenue Administration, has been posted to function as Joint Commissioner (Administration), Commercial Taxes, Coimbatore. She replaces R Lilly.
Ajay Yadav (Junior), Sub-Collector, Namakkal district, will assume charge as the Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Coimbatore. He replaces Sajjansingh R Chavan.
R Palaniswamy, Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, will be taking over as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board.
V Shanta, Commissioner of Disciplinary Proceedings, Coimbatore, has been transferred to function as the managing director of SAGOSERVE, Salem.
