Community Singing Fest at Auroville

PUDUCHERRY: Auroville, a unique international community in the world, is set to host ‘Sing For The Climate-Do It Now’ from September 20 to October 11 at the youth centre, town hall and solar kitchen. It will be organised on five occasions in different locations, the first on  September 20 and will be the Auroville’s  first              participation in the campaign.

The event will take place in three places (a crowded market, a public place, an auditorium) And all participants will sing on the stage, on October 11 for the finale of the AV Singing Festival, with over 250 singers and over 700 members of the audience, an expected total number of 950 people at the event.

An international singing festival will be hosted on October 10 and 11 at Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas.

It is a community singing festival  aimed at getting people to sing together and create a powerful spiritual experience that they would want to share. The show is about participating and providing an opportunity to people to make music and sing songs they love. It’s the joy of being one of the many voices, generations and joining together to sing some of each country’s great songs.
