PUDUCHERRY: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) invited applications for admissions to the 12 month Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certificate Course 2014-15.
The classes will be conducted for 6 hours a day. Graduates of the course will be trained to provide early care in trauma and non-trauma emergencies. The training includes resuscitation techniques and other interventions offered by the faculty of anaesthesiology, surgery, orthopaedics, medicine, pediatrics and nursing sciences. Practical classes will also be conducted. The university offers 20 seats and course fee is `130 and a caution deposit of `1,000.
