1 More Special Train to Velankanni From Goa

NAGAPATTINAM: In a bid to ease the rush of pilgrims for the annual 10-day festival to be held at the Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Health in Velankanni, the Southern Railway has announced yet another special train between Vasco da Gama at Goa and Velankanni.

According to a Southern Railway release, special train (number 07323) between Vasco da Gama and Velankanni would leave Vasco da Gama junction by 12 pm on August 30 and September 3. The train is expected to arrive at Tiruchirapalli junction by 8 am on August 31 and September 4. After halting for 20 minutes at Tiruchy, the train would pass through Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam and reach Velankanni junction on August 31 and September 4 by 12.25 pm.

On its return, special train (number 07324) will start from Velankanni by 21.45 pm on August 31 and September 4, and would pass through Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur before arriving at Tiruchy by 1 am on September 1 and September 5 respectively. After a 20- minute halt at Tiruchy, the train would head for Vasco-Da-Gama and reach there by 21.30 pm the same day - on September 1 and September 5.
