Meets Sl Tamil Party Leaders

CHENNAI: The Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met the leaders of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) on Monday on his return from Galle after addressing a maritime security conference. According to Selvam Adaikalanathan, TNA MP from Wanni, Doval asked incisive questions on the developing situation in the Northern and Eastern Provinces and listened to the TNA leaders intently as they explained to them the situation. Asked if the NSA made any commitments, Adaikalanathan said that no specific commitment was made but he said that India is watching the situation. The TNA delegation comprised, besides Adaikanathan, R Sampanthan, Mavai Senathirajah and M A Sumanthiran, all MPs. A TNA delegation had met Doval earlier when they went to New Delhi to meet the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
