TIRUPUR: Talk about surprises and Rajini fans can throw any number of them, as was seen here on Friday when an ardent Superstar fan floated a new political party - Super Stars Makkal Kazhagam (SSMK) - without the cine icon’s knowledge.
S S Murugesh, who headed a trade union named after Rajinikanth, floated the outfit to mark the movie star’s 64th birthday. During a function, Murugesh declared that the Tamil Nadu Rajinikanth General Workers Union shall be known as SSMK.
