The Ennore Port in Chennai, one of the 12 major ports in the country, will now be known as the Kamaraj Port after the veteran Congress leader and freedom fighter from Tamil Nadu.
Minister of Shipping G K Vasan announced that a decision to name the Ennore Port Limited (EPL) as Kamraj Port Ltd (KPL) was taken at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
