CHENNAI: Koodankulam Anti-Nuke Federation’s president Anton Gomez faulted the Intelligence Bureau (IB) for ridiculing the protests carried out by the people against the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) led by People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE), here on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, Gomez pointed out that the government could start an inquiry and prove that PMANE coordinator SP Udhayakumar had sought foreign funds making false accusations.
Every penny spent in the stir was collected from the people and there was no truth in claiming that money from foreign countries was being pumped into the protest through Udhayakumar.
