Offices of the the District Collector and the City Corporation today received anonymous calls threatening that bombs had been planted in the respective buildings and they could blow up shortly this morning.
Police rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads and searched the premises thoroughly, but could not find any bombs.
"It is a hoax call and nothing was found", police said.
