Jaya Congratulated by Women IAS Officers for Landslide Win

Women IAS officers in various departments of the State government on Friday called on Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat and congratulated her for her spectacular victory in the just-concluded LS elections

CHENNAI: Women IAS officers in various departments of the State government on Friday called on Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat and congratulated her for her spectacular victory in the just-concluded LS elections. They presented a bouquet to the CM and posed for a group photo.

Those who called on the CM were: Shantha Sheela Nair, Sheela Balakrishnan, Sheela Rani Chunkath, Girija Vaidyanathan, Shantini Kapoor, D Sabitha, M P Nirmala, Kannaki Packianathan, Selvi Apoorva, R Vasuki, J Uma Maheswari, B Maheswari, C T Manimekalai, Mythili K Rajendran and F Innocent Divya.

On May 22, Home Secretary Apoorva Varma, DGP K Ramanujam and senior police officers K Ashok Kumar,  T K Rajendran, Amresh Poojari, and  P Kannappan, called on the CM and greeted her for her victory in the Lok Sabha elections and for conducting the elections in a peaceful manner.

The same day, the leaders of alliance parties of the AIADMK called on the CM and congratulated her for the massive victory in the Lok Sabha elections. Those who called on her include RPI leader C K Thamizharasan,  AISMK founder R Sarathkumar, AIFB leader P V Kathiravan and Tamil Nadu Kongu Ilaignar Peravai leader U Thaniyarasu among others.
