300 Special buses for Deepavali

VELLORE: The Vellore unit of the Tamil Nadu State transport corporation has planned to introduce 300 special buses to benefit the commuters during the forthcoming Diwali festival.

According to the transport department officials, 100 buses would be introduced between Vellore and Chennai, 20 buses between Vellore and Bengaluru, 30 buses from Vellore and Hosur and 30 buses from Vellore and Tiruchy.

Similarly, from Tirupattur, 30 buses would be put into service to various locations within the district and to other parts of the State, in addition to 15 buses each from Pernambut, Gudiyattam, 30 buses each from Arcot and Ranipet. These buses would be introduced between October 17 to 24, the officials said.
