Vacancies in UT Police Dept To Be Filled

PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N Rangasamy said the Territorial government would take steps to fill the existing vacancies in the Police Department soon and this would give more employment opportunities to the youth.

He was addressing a gathering after giving the orders on awarding Special Grade to the police personnel at a function on Friday.

The Chief Minister said the pending demand for the promotion to the levels of Superintendents of Police and inspectors would be fulfilled at the earliest.

Also, he gave away the orders on special grade to a total of 927 policemen.
