MADURAI: Police secured a history-sheeter, who is alleged to have masterminded the Madurai triple murder, in Kanyakumari district on Saturday.
Sources said that following an alert from Nagercoil cops, a special team from Madurai rushed to Kanyakumari district and secured ‘Kavath’ Thirupathi of Jaihindpuram while he was travelling along with three other persons in a car at Aralvaimozhi check post.
The team also detained the family members of Thirupathi in Tirunelveli district.
The three persons were identified as Ramaiya, Pandi and Maheswaran.
