Ranipet BHEL pours in Rs 45L for CSR Projects in District

VELLORE:The Boiler Auxiliary Plant (BAP) attached to the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) at Ranipet has completed projects worth Rs 45.65 lakh under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme during the financial year 2014-15.

According to a press release, five projects worth Rs 29.99 lakh have been completed, while two projects worth Rs 15.56 lakh are in progress.

Executive director of the Boiler Auxiliary Plant K Mysaiah inaugurated the five projects on Thursday.

The Boiler Auxiliary Plant has completed construction of separate toilets for girls and boys at the Government Higher Secondary School, Rendadi village, at a cost of Rs 4.89 lakh, separate toilets for girls and boys at the Government Higher Secondary School at Guruvarajapet at a cost of Rs 6.79 lakh,  water sump and barbed wire fencing and provision of cupboards to the Government Girls Higher Secondary School at Arakkonam at a cost of Rs 3.23 lakh, compound wall for the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Walajapetat a cost of Rs 7.45 lakh and provision of RCC roof for nursery classroom at the Sri Ramakrishna BHEL Higher Secondary School atRs 7.63 lakh.
