VELLORE:A 30 year-old-man succumbed to a heart attack hours after his seven-month pregnant wife died in Madapalli near Tirupattur on Saturday.
Muniyappan was working in a private company in Chennai. He was married to Sathiya (22), a year ago in Tirupattur, who, pregnant with his child, suddenly died after returning from the hospital after a check up.
According to a police official, “Sathiya went to Tirupattur Government Hospital for a routine check up with her husband on Friday. After they reached their home in an auto, she had reportedly told Muniyappan that she felt feverish.” Minutes after entering their home, Sathiya fainted and died.
“Muniyappan could not get over her death and was crying since then and finally succumbed to a heart attack on Saturday morning,” the official added.
