MADURAI:After three days of being in the dark about his whereabouts, Muniamma, wife of G Manikandan, a conservancy worker from Pasumalai, near here received a letter from the Coimbatore district police on Friday stating that her husband has been remanded to custody in a robbery case.
Express reported on Friday that Manikandan of the Kurava community was forcefully taken away in a van on Tuesday by seven men, who claimed to be cops. But, the letter received read that Manikandan was arrested by the Anamalai police on Wednesday at the Madurai railway junction .
