CHENNAI: The DMK president M Karunanidhi is indisposed following drug allergy and has been advised rest by doctors, the party headquarters said on Tuesday.“Karunanidhi is under rest for a few days since he is indisposed due to allergy caused by one of the medicines he has been taking regularly,” a party press release said.
It added that doctors had advised him rest for a few more days. The party advised visitors not to flock to his residence.
The release came in the wake of DMK patriarch’s conspicuous absence at the all-party meeting on Cauvery held on Tuesday. Informed sources said he had been remaining aloof at his Gopalapuram residence without giving audience to party men.
