CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and leaders of political parties condoled the death of former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's wife Kamla Advani.
In her condolence message sent to the BJP veteran, the Chief Minister said, "I was grieved to learn about the demise of your wife Smt Kamla Advani".
She also said that although no words of solace would really be adequate in such circumstances, she wished to share his grief by conveying her deepest condolences to him and to all the other family members. "May the almighty give you the strength and fortitude to withstand this personal sorrow. May her soul rest in peace.", she added.
DMK president M Karunanidhi and MDMK general secretary Vaiko also condoled the death of Kamla.
