​Ban on visitors' entry into Berijam lake in Kodaikanal

The movement of wild animals was noticed near the lake and temporarily ban was imposed so that the wild life remains undisturbed.

KODAIKANAL: Tourists have been temporarily barred from visiting the Berijam lake area, one of the major attractions of this hill station, forest department officials said today.

The officials said the movement of wild animals including elephants had been noticed in the area, and the ban will be followed to ensure that the wild life is not disturbed.
