Accusing the leaders of AIADMK-Amma led by TTV Dhinakaran of attempting to create law and order issues in the RK Nagar segment, representatives of the OPS faction submitted a petition to the Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, here on Monday, seeking sufficient protection for campaign events of Panneerselvam. “Dhinakaran is being given high security with over 100 police personnel, but only 7-8 cops accompany Panneerselvam. They are creating trouble. So we sought the CEO to take steps,” former MP Manoj Pandian said.
