CHENNAI: Alleging that the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Puducherry Kiran Bedi is “attempting to hinder the functioning of an elected government”, DMK working president M K Stalin on Sunday said none could approve of her actions. “Her actions out of greed for power have gone to the extent of hindering the elected government and the Chief Minister. Such actions have got no stamp of constitutional sanction,” he said in a statement.
Realising the fact that unlike an elected government, the Governor who is an appointee, is not accountable to the public, it was her duty to work for the welfare of the people, he said.
