Chief Minister Palaniswami releases Arasu Cable app

Chief Minister ‘Edappadi’ K Palaniswami on Wednesday released a mobile application for paying online the monthly charges for Arasu Cable TV.

CHENNAI: Chief Minister ‘Edappadi’ K Palaniswami on Wednesday released a mobile application for paying online the monthly charges for Arasu Cable TV. The app can be downloaded through Google Play store and it functions in Android mobile phones.

Subscribers of Arasu Cable can pay their monthly subscription of D70 using this mobile app between 1st and 10th of every month. If the payment is successful, an SMS will be sent to their mobiles confirming the payment. After 10th of every month, the subscribers should pay their subscription directly to the cable TV operators. After downloading the mobile app, the user should register his particulars and then scan the QR code. 

A one-time password will be sent to their mobile phones to confirm their information given by the user. Information Technology Minister M Manikandan, Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan, Arasu Cable TV Managing Director J Kumaragurubaran and senior officials were present on the occasion.
