19 MLAs loyal to TTV Dhinakaran and VK Sasikala have withdrawn their support from the EPS government and have submitted separate letters to Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao.

The troubles in the AIADMK party continues even after the merger yesterday as now 19 MLAs loyal to TTV Dhinakaran and VK Sasikala have withdrawn their support from the EPS government and have submitted separate letters to Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao saying that they lost confidence in his government during their meeting with the governor at Raj Bhavan.

AIADMK (Amma) deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran has expelled R Vaithiligam from the party. The Rajya Sabha MP had earlier announced that Sasikala would be removed from the party general secretary post.

Leader of Opposition MK Stalin has urged the Governor to convene State Assembly immediately to prove majority of the EPS government.
