Pradeep Yadav is School Education Secy

CHENNAI: In a key move, senior official T Udhayachandran was replaced by Pradeep Yadav as the School Education Department secretary.

While Yadav is the principal secretary of the department, Udhayachandran will continue as the secretary, but with a limited mandate of overseeing the preparation of curriculum.
Besides Yadav, principal secretary posts were created in the Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Fisheries departments.

Rajendra Kumar has been posted as industries commissioner; Kumar Jayant as secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection department; S Palanisamy, director of Town Panchayats; K Gopal, secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries; Ashok Dongre, secretary, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare; and Rajendra Ratnoo, commissioner of disaster management.

New districtors collectors were posted at five places - Salem (Rohini R Bhajibhakare), Sivaganga (G Latha), Cuddalore (Prashant M Wadnere) and Tiruvannamalai (K S Kandasamy).
