Four FIRs filed against AIADMK spokesperson Nanjil Sampath

Police have registered four cases  against Nanjil Sampath, deputy propaganda secretary of AIADMK and  supporter of T T V Dhinakaran, for allegedly using derogatory words against BJP State president.

CHENNAI: Police have registered four cases  against Nanjil Sampath, deputy propaganda secretary of  AIADMK and supporter of T T V Dhinakaran, for allegedly using derogatory words against BJP State president Tamilisai Soundarajan. 

Based on complaints from BJP, four cases have been registered at Pallavaram, Foreshore Estate, Ambattur and  Selaiyur police stations.

The FIRs are also under Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. 

Meanwhile, Sampath’s lawyer filed a complaint with the Commissioner’s office alleging that his client’s house had been ransacked by a group of unidentified men, whom they suspect were BJP supporters.
