‘Responsibility for Ragu’s death lies with State govt’

COIMBATORE: DMK leader MK Stalin met the father of K Ragupathy, an engineer who died in road accident on Avinashi Road recently, and later said that the State government should take responsibility for his death.

Speaking to reporters after enquiring with his parents, Stalin claimed that Ragupathy, who was riding on his bike, hit the illegal hoarding and died, when he tried to avoid collision with a lorry coming towards him in the opposite direction. It was shocking to know that he was about to get married soon.

On behalf of DMK president M Karunanidhi, I conveyed my condolences to their family on, he said.
