CHENNAI: J Deepa, niece of the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, on Wednesday deposed before the inquiry commission headed by a retired judge Justice A Arumughaswamy and said all employees of Poes Garden should be interrogated to bring out the truth and that one of the neighbours had shared many information regarding what happened inside that house in the past.

However, she did not name the neighbour. The Commission is probing the former Chief Minister’s death.

Talking to mediapersons, Deepa said: “The neighbour of my aunt’s house at Poes Garden told me in the past that six persons totally unconnected with the garden were given shelter in that house and they were under the full control of V K Sasikala.

I had worked with Tehelka in bringing out the conspiracy hatched against my aunt within Poes Garden and I have informed the Commission. Particularly, the senior maid Rajammal and two drivers who had worked in the past, government employees and others should also be subjected to probe.” She also reiterated her stand that Poes Garden should not be made a public memorial since there could be some evidence in it.
