CHENNAI: AIADMK (Amma) Deputy general secretary  TTV Dhinakaran is planning to visit various parts of the State to meet people.

This exercise could be viewed as his another move to assert himself in the party. Already, former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam had been addressing public meetings at key places across the State and on Sunday he is scheduled to speak at one such meeting in Tiruvallur district.

Answering queries of mediapersons after meeting Dhinakaran at his Adyar residence, Nanjil Sampath, spokesperson of AIADMK (Amma) and supporter of Dhinakaran, said “The dates for the visit of Dhinakaran will be announced soon.”

Sampath also said all MLAs stood united and everyone would vote in favour of the government in all resolutions  brought by the government in the Assembly.

On Thursday night, Dhinakaran left for Delhi on an ‘unknown mission’ and throughout the day at Delhi on Friday, he could not be contacted. However, he returned to Chennai on Friday night. On Saturday, he went into a huddle with his supporters, including former ministers P Palaniappan, V Senthil Balaji and others.
